Crimson & Rye invites you to attend the first ever City Sticks for Citymeals-on-Wheels. The original, boozy, ice pops will be available on Saturday, September 13 at Crimson & Rye for just $2 per piece with $1 from each pop sold going to Citymeals-on-Wheels.

A variety of City Sticks alcoholic ice pop flavors ranging from mango caipiroska to summer berry stout will be available along with non-alcoholic flavors for children like black grape kiwi and strawberry hint of mint. 50% of all proceeds from City Sticks pop sales will directly benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels and will help to provide meals for New York City’s homebound elderly. Ice pops will be sold outside on Crimson & Rye’s outdoor patio area and inside the bar.

One per person; available while quantities last; must be 21 years or older to consume alcoholic City Sticks ice pops.

Crimson [krim-zuhn, -suhn] adjective. Red, like lipstick.
Rye [rahy] noun. A widely cultivated cereal grass, Secale, used for making whiskey.

Feeding and caring for older New Yorkers since 1981, Citymeals-on-Wheels (citymeals.org) provides a continuous lifeline of nutritious food and human company to the city’s homebound elderly. Citymeals works with community-based meal centers to deliver over 2 million weekend, holiday and emergency meals to 18,000 of our frail aged neighbors. Last year, nearly 19,000 volunteers provided over 67,000 hours of service.

Citymeals relies on the generosity of sponsors, its Board of Directors, the City of New York and other designated gifts to cover administrative costs. This ensures that 100% of all public donations goes directly to the preparation and delivery of meals.

Created by Justin Harter, CITYSTICKS is a New York City based ice pop company focused on unique flavor combinations. Justin acquired various techniques working in the food & beverage industry from Soho House to Riverpark, a Tom Colicchio restaurant, which he uses to create one-of-a-kind infusions and syrups to craft each CITYSTICKS flavors.
