Charlie Palmer Steak Napa is seeking LINE COOKS. The ideal candidate should have 2 or more years of experience as a Line Cook in fine dining or similar restaurant. Classically trained graduates from an accredited culinary school is highly preferred.


Line Cooks are responsible for the proper execution, preparation, and presentation of well-balanced food orders; including meat, fish, poultry, and related items. This person must ensure that all items are prepared in a timely manner to standards of the restaurant and Chef.
• Prepare meat, fish, poultry and other items.
• Properly operate stoves, grills, fryers, broilers, and other utensils in preparing the food orders.
• Keep stations clean during preparation and service.
• Turn off all stoves, flat tops, ovens, deep fryers and pasta machines.
• Inform Chef of any abnormalities in food quality.
• Complete opening and closing duties; clean and organize station.
• Ensure good turnover of products by proper rotation.
