Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza and Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s Turn Up the Heat with Burger Challenge for Santa Letters
For the third year running, the Culinary Kitchen at Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza and Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s will play host to the Costa Mesa Fire Department as they battle it out for the Best Burger in town. Chef Charlie Palmer will be on hand to judge the burgers, along with guest judges Nancy Luna (OC Register) and Fred Seguin (Division Chief, CMFD). Attendees will witness this red-hot burger challenge, sample the competitors’ burgers and learn more about Santa Letters. A $25.00 donation to Santa Letters is suggested for those who wish to attend.
Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza and Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s wholeheartedly support the efforts of Santa Letters, a division of the Costa Mesa Firefighters’ Association Charity Fund. Santa Letters adopts the wishes written from children and needy families to Santa during the holiday season, requesting food and other basic-need items. Without the generosity of Santa Letters and their supporters, many of these requests would go unanswered. The Costa Mesa Fire Department is now accepting financial contributions to assist with this year’s Santa Letters program. Donations checks can be made out to CMFA Charity Fund. To find out more about Santa Letters, visit www. santaletterscmfa.com.
The winning burger will be featured on the DG Burger Menu for the month of December. One dollar for each Costa Mesa Fire Department Burger will be donated to Santa Letters.
