Introducing Jeff to Table at Charlie Palmer Steak DC

WHAT
Charlie Palmer Steak’s Executive Chef, Jeffery Russell, is giving a whole new meaning to the phrase, “farm-to-table.” Having applied for a plot in the City of Alexandria Community Garden space several years back, Chef Russell received word in the early spring that a spot had opened up for him. He quickly jumped at the opportunity to help cultivate a new program at Charlie Palmer Steak whereby he would plant, grow and pick the freshest of produce for his menus at the restaurant. In that spirit, he got to planting in April (once the ground finally thawed!) and conceptualized a summer menu for Charlie Palmer Steak, aptly titled “Jeff-to-Table.” With ample rain and sun this summer, the garden is at full bloom and Chef Russell is ready to showcase his garden bounty to dinner-goers at CP Steak beginning next week with his $55 four-course summer garden menu that will change each week. Additionally, Wine Director Nadine Brown has created wine pairings for each course.
