Cellar Dive Saturdays
Aureole’s wine team presents back-vintage bottles by the glass on a descending price scale on Saturday nights.
Dreaming of drinking a rare ‘00 Bordeaux or a ’96 Cabernet, but thwarted by the price point? On Saturdays at Chef Charlie Palmer’s Michelin-starred Aureole, Sommelier Morgan Harris breaks out back-vintage, rare bottles and sell them by the glass on a descending price scale. If you’re the first one in the door this Saturday you’ll have access to a glass of 2000 Bordeaux, Paulliac, Pontet-Canet for $65. At 6 pm the glass price descends to $55, at 7 pm to $45, at 8 pm to $35 and then at 9 pm, just $25. While the real deal comes at the close of the night, these prestigious bottles are limited and only available while quantities last.
