Private Events and Catering

Recently awarded as one of the Best Wedding Vendors in 2009 by Washingtonian Bride and Groom and frequently cited as Capitol Hill's best private event space, Charlie Palmer Steak's private dining rooms can accommodate events ranging from 10 to 70 guests for a seated dinner or 20 to 160 guests for a cocktail reception.

Exclusive use of the main dining room can accommodate events of up to 200 guests for a seated dinner.

Charlie Palmer Steak has access to an amazing venue on the 9th floor of the building that offers panoramic views of the Capitol Building and can accommodate up to 80 guests for a seated dinner or up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception. Both indoor and outdoor space is included in rental.

For larger scale events, there is a grand rooftop terrace on the top of the building that combined with Charlie Palmer's cuisine and service - makes for an unforgettable affair. This space can accommodate up to 500 guests for a cocktail reception and up to 230 guests for a seated dinner. The space is tented and can be heated or air conditioned, if needed. The view of the Capitol Building from the grand rooftop is arguably one of the most exceptional in the city. It is the dream location for a wedding reception. Rental fees do apply.
